Dr. Safina LeClair created Ranunculus Dental with a vision for patient-centered care, transformative dentistry, and positively impacting lives. Inspired by the vibrant ranunculus flower fields, she brings warmth and beauty to the dental experience. She empowers patients by listening closely, respecting their decisions, and understanding their situation. Replacing fear and anxiety with calm and confidence, she fosters authentic relationships while enhancing smiles and elevating lives.

Dr. LeClair believes dentistry goes beyond fixing teeth – it’s about building trust and creating positive experiences. She began her dental career as a hygienist, giving her a unique perspective on patient comfort and care. Combining evidence-based techniques and top tier expertise, she delivers comprehensive treatments with a focus on cosmetic and sedation solutions. She believes fear shouldn’t stop you from getting the care you desire - that’s why sedation dentistry is an important part of her philosophy.

Dr. LeClair went back to school at Loma Linda University to become a dentist. She achieved her dream and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. With many hours of continuing education, she has extensive training in veneers, dental implants, clear aligners, Botox® and dermal fillers, and sedation solutions.

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. LeClair calls Carlsbad home with her husband (Dr. Bronson), their three children (Inaara, Halden, and Chael), and their golden retriever (Lola). She has a passion for wellness and enjoys yoga and Orange Theory Fitness. More than anything, she loves spending time with her family and creating memories to last a lifetime.
